1. About these terms

This website is operated by ASIAN YOGA THERAPY LIMITED (operating as the Asia Pacific Yoga Therapy Association), Civil Service Club #03/05, 60 Tessensohn Road, Singapore 217664. By using the site, applying for membership, or registering for an event, you agree to these terms.

2. Membership

Membership is granted on the basis of the information and documents you submit. We may verify your credentials and may decline, suspend or revoke membership where eligibility or conduct requirements are not met. Membership is granted for a 12-month term and does not renew automatically; a renewal reminder is sent before it lapses.

3. Fees & payments

Membership and event fees are shown in US dollars and processed by Stripe. Membership is charged once for a 12-month term; there is no automatic renewal. Membership fees are handled under the refund policy in section 4. Event fees are non-refundable unless stated otherwise for a specific event. Receipts are issued by ASIAN YOGA THERAPY LIMITED.

4. Refund policy

APYTA issues membership based on the credentials submitted by each applicant. Where the credentials do not match the requirements for the tier paid for, APYTA will guide the applicant to the correct tier and refund the difference, if any.

5. Denial or revocation of membership

Responsible and ethical conduct is required of all members representing APYTA. While individuals, practitioners and institutions may obtain membership by meeting the stated criteria, the APYTA governing body reserves the right to deny or revoke membership where conduct deviates from the guidelines and terms of agreement set by APYTA.

6. Directory listings

Where you consent to a public directory listing, you confirm the information is accurate and that you hold the qualifications stated. We may remove or amend listings that are inaccurate or breach these terms.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site, misrepresent your credentials, or use APYTA marks without authorisation. The APYTA name, logo and content are protected and may not be copied without permission.

8. Conferences & events

Event registrations are subject to the terms shown at registration. Programmes, speakers and formats may change. Paper submissions are reviewed and acceptance is at our discretion.

9. Liability

The site and its content are provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site or attendance at events.
